Byren “Fuego Beats” Lloyd is a radio personality, producer, technology/safety professional and anti-bullying advocate. Byren is originally from New York and is a radio personality, producer, technology and safety professional and anti-bullying advocate. He attended Georgetown University, where he received his Master’s Degree in Technology Management in 2017.
Byren has been operating as a safety and technology professional for more than 11 years throughout the Washington DC, Metro area, providing technical assistance to the regions emergency management programs. In 2001, Byren began assisting with the promotion of artists for the New York City based record label Mo’ Flav entertainment. While assisting with the promotion of artists, Byren decided to begin creating music in 2002.
In 2003 Byren and his best friend Michael “Egypt” Kirollos decided to collaborate and start creating music together. After years of creating music, 2008, Byren joined the internet radio station JJDJ Radio and begin co-hosting on the John and Coop show, which aired every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm Est. During his time on the John and Coop show, he began to see the need for a platform that helped independent artists, regardless of their budget and popularity.
In 2009, Byren decided to create the radio station “Fuego Beats Radio”, in order to give independent artists of all genres a chance to get their music heard without all the red tape. Fuego Beats Radio quickly began to become popular and expand across the United States and into Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
Recently Fuego Beats Radio, has turned from a 24-7 streaming radio station to a podcast network with multiple shows, DJ’s, radio hosts, and partners. In 2013, Byren became an advocate for Anti-Bullying and was been named the East Coast Outreach Coordinator for the Non-Profit Organization Bully Bear (ImBullyFree.org). Byren has also launched the multimedia company “FB Media Group” with one of his best friend’s Ariel “Siah Wave” Costa (Host of St82daPointRadio). Currently, Byren is also in the process of collaborating with Ariel Costas on a clothing line that will be focused on community and culture.
